As a South African who grew up in the beautiful wine region of Stellenbosch, I have been closely associated with wine for most of my life. I have been in and around the trade for almost 20 years and am currently studying for the Master of Wine qualification with the Wine Academy of South Africa. When the opportunity arose to start up my own company to supply wines to Hong Kong it was a natural choice for me, and I have made it my aim to provide premium quality wines at sensible prices.

I have endeavoured to provide a balanced portfolio which should appeal to all tastes and all pockets. Each and every estate we represent has been personally chosen for the quality of its wines and its ability to enhance our range and not on its name. I have also aimed for wines that are immensely versatile and which will complement any cuisine, Western or Asian. Our portfolio is exclusive; we are dedicated to providing quality and not quantity.

What I love about my profession is that I am here to help people through the voyage of discovery that is wine. Each and every time we open a bottle it is a different experience; like a great movie, even when you think you know the plot there is always more to enjoy and to understand. It is the same with a great wine there are always more nuances and subtleties to draw out of every bottle and every glass; we will never know the full story of a great wine as she has so many facets and she is so many things to different people. I like to guide and to coach, but to each and everyone a wine is an individual thing, we will always be learning and the day that we stop learning is the day we should stop drinking, heaven forbid!
