Newton Johnson Chardonnay 2005 Walker Bay, South Africa 100% Chardonnay Tasting Notes: Sophisticated and elegantly styled. Showing definitive fruit with clean, fresh citrus flavours of lime and grapefruit with a touch of riper melon backed with by a creamy, velvet mouth feel and a minerally, dry finish. Secondary flavours and aromas of wood spice and light toast are created through fermentation and maturation in Burgundy oak barriques.
