Staete Landt Pinot Gris 2005 Marlborough, New Zealand 100% Pinot Gris Tasting Notes: This is a full-bodied, complex dry wine. It is a lovely example of the varietal. It is full round and ripe in the mouth with pears, guava and papaya aromas combined with intriguing hazelnut complexity. It has excellent length and structure. Serving Suggestions: Smoked Trout Roll Ups, Creamed Mushroom & Pastrami Pasta, Scallop Ravioli w/ Lobster Basil Sauce, Garlic Prawns, Seafood Soufflés w/ Lemon Caper Sauce. Serve Well Chilled.
