Newton Johnson Syrah/Mourvèdre 2005 Walker Bay, South Africa Tasting Notes: Classically motivated but with a capturing warmth in style. Complexity, depth and concentration in flavour are in delicate balance and exemplify the finesse of our Pinot Noir. Voluptuous cherry, raspberry fruit and perfumed floral aromas are backed by a cinnamon spiciness, characteristics of our 777 terroir and further hints of liquorice. Tertiary aromas of truffles will develop after a year in the bottle and will intensify with further ageing.
